About Trace Your Craft™

Trace Your Craft™ is a production tracking and transparency system developed by Heritage Bay to support the way traditional craft is made, managed, and shared.

At its core, it is designed to bring structure and visibility to craft processes that are typically informal and difficult to track. By organising production into clear stages and documenting how each piece is made, the system allows different individuals to contribute to a single product in a coordinated and measurable way.

Trace Your Craft™ is used within Heritage Bay’s Made-in-Singapore batik programme, where participants take part in various stages of production such as preparation, waxing, colouring, and finishing. The system ensures that work is recorded, verified, and fairly attributed, while maintaining consistency across the overall production workflow.
