Description
Small-Clawed Otter Long Sleeve Striped Tee
We thought: what if something so familiar to Singapore could be reimagined through the craftsmanship of batik?
Inspired by Singapore’s Asian small-clawed otters, this piece brings together contemporary streetwear and the traditional craft of batik tulis. A hand-drawn batik panel featuring a pair of otters sits against the oversized white body, layered over contrasting brown-and-black striped sleeves and finished with script detailing throughout.
Every otter is drawn and waxed by hand, by beneficiaries with special needs from Arts@Metta. So differences in the lines, colours and details are part of the piece.
Only 100 pieces will ever be made. Each one, 1 of 1.
